let’s begin.

start by filling a vase with fresh, room temperature water.

empty your black bucket, laying all your flowers & greenery on a table or counter. dispose of the water.

using your now empty black bucket to catch all the waste, clean each stem by removing the leaves and give each stem a fresh trim.

from here, you can either start designing right away or allow your stems to rest in the fresh water until you’re ready. just make sure the flowers are not out of water longer than 20 minutes!

flower arranging 101

1. GATHER

gather your cleaned stems, clippers or scissors, and vessel (filled with fresh room temperature water).

2. GREENERY

place greenery in the vessel to build your base and the shape of your arrangement.

3. FILLER (small blooms, full in body)

place your fillers to build up the body of your arrangement.

4. HEIGHT

put in your tallest flowers.

5. FOCAL POINTS

choose the focal flowers you want to take centre stage (where in the arrangement you want to draw the eye to).

6. FINAL TOUCHES

tuck in your remaining flowers to your taste until your creation feels complete.
